Aawaz - speak up against sexual violence!! An upcoming single from Eastern Fare Music Foundation featuring Ritwika Bhattacharya , Antara Nandy and Queen Hazarika . Merinews , 06 May : The single ‘Aawaz - speak up against sexual violence’ is composed by Jim Ankan Deka, Director of Bangalore based music organisation Eastern Fare Music Foundation. The lyrics are penned together by Jim and singer Ritwika Bhattacharya. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs (2009) finalist Antara Nandy from Kolkata has rendered her vocals to this cause along with Ritwika and Queen Hazarika (a familiar face in the music scenario of Assam). The song aims to sensitize people of various social evils such as sexual violence, child abuse and marital rape. The spirit of spring came alive in Bangalore with Bohag Bihu celebrations organized by the Assam Association of Karnataka . The festive occasion amalgamated Assamese people from all corners of Bangalore adorning traditional attires to savor their traditional delicacies. Musical trio Shankar Mahadevan , Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa took Bangalore by storm at the Idea Rocks India concert. Aimed at promoting upcoming musical talents, the Idea Rocks concert is an annual event where Idea goes on a talent hunt across India. Along with the trio, the event also witnessed performances by singer and flutist Rasika Chandrasekhar, Raman Mahadevan and the winner of the Idea Rocks India Talent Hunt, Bangalore, Nishant Kumar.
