Make music with Google Translate | Beatbox

Image
Well, while I was checking Google Translate , I fumbled into this wired (amazing?) phenomena - Google Translate can create rhythmic beats! How? Here is how - ► Open Google Translate or click here . ► Change the "Detect Language" to German or Czech. ► Type some random characters (Eg: bschk bschk bschk bschk pv pv pv zk bschkzk bschkzk pv pv pv zk bschk bschk bschk bschk pv pv pv zk ) ► Click the "play" button. More theory about this by Alexia Tsotsis . And here is a guide to make your own beats. Do create your own beat-box and don't forget to upload on YouTube or Soundcloud. Have fun

Sunday Soul Sante - fun, food and music! (event photography)

I had not much clue about an event like this in Bangalore until my friend Antara Baruah gave me a call and told me about it. Later as I was checking out, Asha Rao, founder of Sunday Soul Sante gave me a call and invited me for the event. There was food, music, beverages and for the females specially - a flea market. The Sunday Soul Sante 2013 had almost everything to offer. Apart from damosels in fine-looking garments appearing totally appealing and attractive, the event also witnessed live music by the band Solder and Avril Quadros with her band Hammer N Thong and a fashion show by Prasad Bidapa Associates . Below are few photos of the event. Image
Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple is a 1000 year old temple. The original temple, identified as one of the oldest temples of Karnataka, dates back to the 9th century A.D. The temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva. There are three temples within the temple complex - Arunachaleswara, Uma Maheshwara and Bhoga Nandeeshwara. The other portion of the temple houses a large indoor water pond, called Sringeri Teertha and has rock cut steps on which 100,000 lamps are lit thrice a year on main festival days like Deepavali.
